KC fills Power and Light District for #USAvGER Women's World Cup watch party

#USAvGER Watch Party - June 30, 2015

Fans filled the Kansas City Power and Light District on Tuesday -- and graced the front page of the Kansas City Star today -- to cheer the United States Women's National Team on to the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup final with a 2-0 semifinal victory over Germany. Carli Lloyd scored in her third straight match and Kelly O'Hara came off the bench to score her first international goal as the U.S. WNT handed No. 1 ranked Germany their first multi-goal loss at a World Cup in 20 years (highlights).

The United States -- who now await tonight's winner between Japan and England -- will play in their fourth World Cup final (1991, 1999, 2011, 2015) at 6 p.m. CT on Sunday at BC Place in Vancouver, Canada. The match will be shown live on FOX and will look to challenge the American TV record for the most-watched women's soccer match of all-time:

1. 17.98 million: USA-China (1999 World Cup Final)
2. 13.46 million: Japan-USA (2011 World Cup Final)

Sporting KC, FC Kansas City and WIN for KC will once again host Kansas City's premier watch party for Sunday's final, which will be shown on the big screen in KC Live!
