Sporting KC and Toronto FC meet at 3 p.m. CT on Saturday at BMO Field in the lone matchup between the two clubs during the 2015 MLS regular season. Both teams currently sit in playoff position in their respective conferences with three months remaining in regular season play. Coverage will be available on KMCI-TV’s 38 the Spot and SKCTV across the Midwest beginning at 2:30 p.m. CT. Fans can also listen to the match in English on ESPN 1510 AM and in Spanish on La Grande 1340 AM.

Sporting KC earned a 1-1 draw against the Houston Dynamo at Sporting Park in their last MLS outing. Sporting KC is now 9-4-7 (4th place) in 2015 and has at least two games in hand on each team ahead of them in the standings. Dom Dwyer scored his seventh goal of 2015 in the draw, tying him for the team lead along with Benny Feilhaber and Krisztian Nemeth. Sporting KC is the only team with three players that have scored seven goals this year. Feilhaber earned his 11th assist of 2015, second most in MLS, on Dwyer's goal.

Dwyer will be unavailable on Saturday as he serves his mandatory one-game suspension after receiving his fifth yellow card of 2015. Sporting KC will also be without Roger Espinoza (suspension), Ike Opara (left achilles) and Jalil Anibaba (left thigh strain) on Saturday.

Toronto FC head coach Greg Vanney will be without Damien Perquis and Benoit Cheyrou as the duo serve one-game suspensions of their own. Luke Moore (ankle sprain) and Mark Bloom (quadriceps surgery) are unavailable due to injury, however U.S. Men's National Team captain Michael Bradley is expected to make his return to the lineup.

Sporting KC is unbeaten in their last five trips to BMO Field, earning victories in each of their last three trips to the stadium. Toronto's 12 losses to Sporting KC are tied for the most against any MLS foe in the club's nine-year history and Sporting KC has just one loss to Toronto in the last 13 MLS meetings dating back to 2010 (9-1-3). However, Toronto FC boasts the Golden Boot leader in Sebastian Giovinco, who has scored 16 goals in 2015 -- including a hat trick in Toronto FC’s 4-1 victory over Orlando City SC on Wednesday.

Additionally, Toronto FC announced today the signing of former Kansas City striker Herculez Gomez. Prior to the signing, Toronto FC acquired the right of first refusal for Gomez from Sporting KC in exchange for allocation money. Gomez will be added to the roster upon receipt of his International Transfer Certificate and Canadian work permit.
