Sixteen strikes remain in contention for the 2015 AT&T Goal of the Year award, including three from Sporting Kansas City players. Benny Feilhaber, Krisztian Nemeth and Dom Dwyer comprise three of the four goals remaining in the Midwest region of the knockout-style bracket. Round of 16 voting is now open and lasts through Thursday, Nov. 19.
Feilhaber's stoppage-time stunner against Houston in April salvaged a valuable road point and put an exclamation point on one of the regular season's best games. A month later, Dwyer's turn and blast highlighted a 4-2 goalfest that saw Sporting KC knock off the New England Revolution. Nemeth's jaw-dropping solo run and finish against Portland in early October, just three days after the club won the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, proved pivotal in Sporting KC's bid for a playoff spot.

The 2015 Goal of the Year winner will be announced on Dec. 3. Sporting Kansas City is seeking its first Goal of the Year recipient in club history. Feilhaber, Nemeth and Dwyer combined for 45 of the team’s 64 goals across all competitions in 2015.
