D.C. United vs. New York City FC | 3 p.m. CT Saturday, Facebook Live and UniMas
When these two teams met on March 12, New York City FC (2-1-1, 7 points) ran riot behind David Villa’s two goals and claimed a 4-0 victory. Villa has scored six times in as many career appearances against D.C., and if United (1-2-1, 4 points) wants to build off of last weekend’s 2-0 win over the Philadelphia Union, they’ll have to slow down the league’s reigning MVP this time around. Orlando City SC vs. New York Red Bulls | 3 p.m. CT Sunday, ESPN
After opening the campaign with consecutive wins, Sacha Kljestan and the Red Bulls (2-2-1, 7 points) have scrapped just a point from their last three matches heading into Sunday’s road test at the new Orlando City Stadium. Cyle Larin and the Lions (2-1-0, 6 points) also won two on the trot before falling 2-0 in Columbus last Saturday. Buckle up for a potential goal fest, as the sides have combined to score 18 times in five previous meetings.
Sporting KC vs. Colorado Rapids | 6 p.m. CT Sunday, FS1
Something has to give when these longtime rivals square off Sunday evening. Sporting KC (1-0-3, 6 points) is unbeaten in 11 straight regular season home games, one shy of equaling a club record, but Colorado has won five straight in the series.
