Injury Report new DL - Children's Mercy

Injury Report is SportingKC.comā€™s look at the latest injury news ahead of upcoming matches and is presented by The Center for Sports Medicine at Children's Mercy.

Just one name remains on Sporting Kansas Cityā€™s injury report heading into tonightā€™s match with the San Jose Earthquakes at Avaya Stadium.

Center back Erik Palmer-Brown is questionable as he continues to work his way to full fitness after suffering a thigh injury that has kept him sidelined since returning from the FIFA U-20 World Cup earlier this month.

The Earthquakes have a lengthier injury report, with six players either out or questionable for tonightā€™s game. Quincy Amarikwa (ACL), Harold Cummings (ankle) and Marc Pelosi (knee) are all out with long-term injuries, while Florian Jungwirth ā€“ who scored a consolation goal against Sporting KC in the 2-1 win on March 18 ā€“ is also out with an ankle injury. Fatai Alashe (knee) and Shaun Francis (hamstring) are both questionable.

Kickoff from Avaya Stadium is set for 8 p.m. CT tonight on FOX Sports Kansas City and FOX Sports Midwest. The game will also be carried on the radio by Sports Radio 810 WHB (English) and La Grande 1340 AM (Spanish).
