The Western Conference race is coming down to the wire as the top seven teams are currently separated by seven points with Sporting KC and Seattle Sounders FC tied for first with 40 points. After defeating FC Dallas last weekend, Sporting KC will hit the road for the first of three straight road games against teams in playoff position. That run starts this weekend with a trip to Texas to take on the Houston Dynamo.
