Injury Report is SportingKC.comā€™s look at the latest injury news ahead of upcoming matches and is presented by The Sports Medicine Center at Children's Mercy.

Sporting Kansas City is set to take on New York City FC at Yankee Stadium tonight with no additions to the clubā€™s injury report. Forward Cameron Porter is the only inclusion, and he remains out for the remainder of the 2017 season with a broken fibula.

New York City, on the other hand, has several players on its injury report. The most significant name is star forward and the leagueā€™s top scorer, David Villa, who is out for tonightā€™s match with an adductor issue sustained while on international duty with Spain.

Heā€™s joined on the clubā€™s injury report by former Sporting KC midfielder Mikey Lopez (midfoot sprain) along with defenders Ronald Matarrita (high ankle sprain) and Ethan White (gastrocnemius strain).

Kickoff from Yankee Stadium is set for 6:30 p.m. CT with the game broadcast on FOX Sports Kansas City and FOX Sports Midwest Plus, while ESPN 99.3 FM (English) and La Grande 1340 AM (Spanish) will have the call on the radio.
