Here's a quick rundown of all the matches involving Western Conference teams.
FC Dallas vs Colorado Rapids, 7:00 p.m. CT (MLS Live)
FCD will look to end their recent struggles against the last place Rapids. After looking like a lock to make the playoffs for most of the season, Dallas currently are on the outside looking in and in the midst of a ten match winless streak.
Houston Dynamo vs LA Galaxy, 7:30 p.m. CT (MLS Live)
The Dynamo return to BBVA Compass Stadium with a great opportunity to push themselves back into a playoff spot. Following a draw on the road at NYCFC on the weekend, Houston will be the heavy favorites against a Galaxy side playing their third road match in eight days.
San Jose Earthquakes vs Chicago Fire, 9:30 p.m. CT (MLS LIve)
Along with Dallas and Houston, San Jose are battling for the last few playoff spots in the Western Conference. Despite having a -20 goal difference, the Earthquakes would put themselves in great position to make the postseason with three points against the Fire. The Earthquakes are unbeaten at Avaya Stadium since May.
Seattle Sounders FC vs Vancouver Whitecaps FC, 9:30 p.m. CT (MLS Live)
This is arguably the most important match of the evening for Sporting KC fans. The Whitecaps lead the Western Conference (by one point over Sporting KC) but will finish out the season with four of their last five matches on the road. Seattle, who are winless in their last five matches will be looking to turn things around against a Cascadia rival. With a lot at stake and several interesting storylines (Fredy Montero returning to CenturyLink Field), this is the marquee match of the evening.
