FIFA World Cup watch parties begin Thursday at No Other Pub in Kansas City Power & Light District

The wait is just about over.

Beginning with Thursday’s opening match and continuing through the final on July 15, No Other Pub in the Kansas City Power & Light District downtown will be Sporting KC’s World Cup headquarters throughout the 2018 FIFA World Cup this summer.

No Other Pub will open early at 9 a.m. on every World Cup matchday, showing a total of 54 matches live from Russia on the venue’s 150-square-foot video wall and surrounding HDTV screens. Food and drink specials will be available during each day’s World Cup watch party, including bloody marys, mimosas, breakfast tacos and biscuits and gravy. Attendees can enter to win giveaways for Sporting KC tickets and other prizes.

As matches unfold inside No Other Pub, guests can also play the World Cup update on EA SPORTS FIFA 18 and enjoy numerous other amenities and activities available in the bar’s gaming parlor: bowling, golf simulators, snookball, arcade games, shuffleboard, shufflepuck, foosball, ping pong, darts, beer pong and billiards.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup will air live in the United States on FOX (38 matches) and FS1 (26 matches) in English, as well as Telemundo (56 matches) and NBC Universo (eight matches) in Spanish. Click here for more details on TV, streaming and radio coverage.
