Seth Sinovic's stunning strike up for USL Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week

Left back Seth Sinovic certainly left a mark in his first appearance for the Swope Park Rangers since 2016.

Joining the USL side on loan after nursing his way back from a recent injury sustained with Sporting Kansas City, the ninth-year MLS veteran unleashed a 25-yard missile that gave the Rangers an early 1-0 lead over Las Vegas Lights on Sunday at Children's Mercy Park.

Sinovic's strike, which proved decisive in SPR's thrilling 3-2 victory, is one of five nominees for USL Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week. Fans can visit USLsoccer.com to cast their vote for Sinovic until 11 a.m. CT on Thursday.

Sinovic, who has played more than 200 matches for Sporting KC since joining his hometown club in 2010, made his Rangers debut in September 2016. Sunday marked just the second time the defender has donned an SPR uniform.

The Rangers (8-4-4, 28 points) climbed to fourth place in the Western Conference following Sunday's triumph, which also included goals from Sporting KC loanees Kharlton Belmar and Wan Kuzain Wan Kamal. Head coach Paulo Nagamura's team is off this weekend and will return to action on Thursday, July 5, traveling to face Seattle Sounders FC 2 (3-8-2, 11 points) in a match that will stream live on ESPN+.
