Peter Vermes joins Glenn Davis on the Soccer Matters podcast to discuss Alan Pulido, Gadi Kinda and #SKCvHOU

Manager Peter Vermes made the rounds at Sporting Kansas City Media Day on Tuesday at Children’s Mercy Park, speaking with several local journalists and TV crews ahead of Saturday’s highly anticipated and long-awaited home opener against rivals Houston Dynamo.

He also caught up this week with a prominent soccer figure who covers the Dynamo. In an insightful discussion with FOX, ESPN and Houston television commentator Glenn Davis on his Soccer Matters podcast, Vermes reflected on all of the following:

  • A momentum-building 3-1 win at Vancouver Whitecaps FC last weekend
  • The notable impacts of high-profile newcomers Alan Pulido and Gadi Kinda
  • How the Sporting technical staff identified Kinda as an under-the-radar prospect playing in Israel
  • Going up against former teammate and new Dynamo head coach Tab Ramos this Saturday
  • Goalkeeper Tim Melia’s consistency between the sticks
