Can Sporting Kansas City lay claim to the best MLS jersey ever created?
Club supporters and kit advocates alike will have their say on the subject over the next several days.
As a part of MLS Jersey Week presented by adidas, MLS has unveiled a 32-team bracket of the league's all-time best tops, divided into four regional brackets. Each of the league's 26 clubs nominated one entrant, while Classic Football Shirts—one of the world’s most recognized brands in jersey culture—selected the final six.
Sporting Kansas City is one of six clubs to have two entries, with the 2014-15 horizontal stripe secondary kit going up against the vintage 1997 Wizards home jersey.
First-round play runs today and Wednesday, with fan voting on @MLS Twitter deciding the outcome of each matchup. Additional rounds run through the remainder of the week, with the champion to be crowned on Sunday.
