FOX Sports Kansas City to re-air inaugural Kansas City Wiz match at 7 and 9 p.m. CT Saturday

Saturday at 7 and 9 p.m. CT, FOX Sports Kansas City is turning back the clocks to the very beginning.

All the way back to April 13, 1996.

On this date, the Kansas City Wiz welcomed over 21,000 fans to Arrowhead Stadium for their inaugural MLS match against the Colorado Rapids. Digital Takawira wasted no time becoming a folk hero, bagging a brace, while longtime United States international and eventual MLS head coach Frank Klopas also found the score sheet as the Wiz prevailed 3-0 in a triumphant first chapter for the club.

FOX Sports Kansas City will re-air the historic showdown in its entirety on Saturday, featuring pop-up video commentary from several former players who competed in the game.

Saturday's re-airing can also be streamed on the FOX Sports GO app and at FOXSportsGO.com by customers of pay-TV providers who receive FOX Sports Kansas City. For a full list of FOX Sports Kansas City channel numbers, click here.
