Colonel Mitch Watkins

Colonel Watkins enlisted in the Army in 1986 and served two combat tours with the 82nd Airborne Division including operations in Panama and Desert Storm. His operational deployments as a commissioned officer include service in Bosnia, Kosovo, Liberia, and two additional tours in Iraq. COL Watkins is a graduate of the Army Ranger School, the Jump Master School, the Air Assault School, and Pathfinder School. He has been awarded three Bronze Stars for his service in combat. COL Watkins currently serves as the commander, operations Group Charlie at the Mission Command Training Center, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. He and his wife Beth have three children: Hannah, Georgia, and Casey.
