Sergeant Kyle Kelley and Sergeant Javier Centonzio

Kyle Kelley joined the Marine Corps in 2003 as an Infantry Rifleman and worked his way up to the rank of E-5 Sergeant. While deployed in Fallujah, Iraq on Memorial Day of 2006, Kyle’s company was struck by an IED leaving Kyle with brain injuries and nerve damage. Kyle is the recipient of the Purple Heart Medal and a proud veteran. Kyle is joined tonight by his girlfriend, Jordan.

Javier Centonzio was raised In Kansas City, Kansas and served five years in the Marine Corps. He was deployed to Iraq in 2005 as a member of the Kansas Army National guard. After the death of a good friend on a mission in Baghdad, he was inspired to pursue his education at Park University to become an attorney. Javier graduated and served as student body president at Park University and spearheaded raising awareness of veterans' issues. He helped create a chapter of Student Veterans for America, and helped the university win a $100,000 "Success for Veterans Award" grant, used to expand and create assistance for veterans at the university. Javier is joined by his four god-children: Jake, Nadia, Analysia, and Amaya.
