2014: The Year In Kansas City Sports

2014 was a special year for Kansas City-area sports teams. Records were broken, championships were won and 29-year playoff droughts were ended.

On the soccer front, Sporting Kansas City's Dom Dwyer broke the team's single-season scoring record with 22 goals, Matt Besler and Graham Zusi represented the U.S. Men's National Team at the World Cup in Brazil and both FC Kansas City and the Missouri Comets won their respective championships.

Sunday night, FOX 4 Kansas City's Jason Lamb reflected on those achievements and more in the station's yearly sports review.
