ALL-ACCESS: Dom Dwyer crashes #MLSCup

Dom Dwyer MLS Cup 2014

How best to capture all the sights and sounds of MLS Cup 2014? Through the eyes of social media maven Dom Dwyer, of course.

The MLS All-Star will be taking over Major League Soccer's official Snapchat account (username: MLS) to provide an all-access experience for fans across the globe. But don't miss out!

Each Snap (e.g. photo or video clip) in a Snapchat story lives for 24 hours until it disappears. That's just enough time to replay the Snap, screenshot the Snap or send out an #MLSCup Snap of one's own.

Sunday's main event -- MLS Cup 2014 between hosts LA Galaxy and Eastern Conference champions New England Revolution -- will kick off at 2 p.m. CT live on ESPN, UniMas and Univision Deportes from the StubHub Center, where Dwyer will be in attendance after crashing all the pre-game events around Los Angeles.

Dwyer is reunited with MLS Snapchat followers after he delivered an inside look during Sporting Kansas City's visit to the White House in October. The 24-year-old Englishman is one of three MLS players to be featured on the League's social media platforms over the next 48 hours along with Chicago Fire forward Mike Magee (Vine) and FC Dallas defender Stephen Keel (Instagram).

In addition, supporters who follow Sporting Kansas City on Snapchat (username: SportingKC) will also be treated to behind-the-scenes coverage of MLS Cup on Sunday. Sporting Kansas City was the first Major League Soccer team with an account on the mobile app, which now includes the following clubs:

  • Sporting Kansas City: sportingkc
  • Seattle Sounders FC: soundersfc
  • New England Revolution: nerevolution
  • LA Galaxy: lagalaxy
