Sporting Kansas City announced Friday that midfielder Stephane Auvray has been traded to the New York Red Bulls in exchange for a second round draft pick in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft.
Auvray appeared in 27 matches during his two years for Sporting Kansas City after signing prior to the 2010 MLS season. He recently captained Guadeloupe at the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup, including a 1-0 loss to the United States at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park in his 23rd all-time appearance for his national team.
