Sporting Kansas City supporters planning to attend the 2015 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Final on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at PPL Park can now reserve a complimentary ticket via SKCAwayTickets.com. Sporting KC will accommodate as many ticket requests as possible with Season Ticket Members receiving priority consideration. All requests must be submitted by 12 p.m. CT on Friday, Aug. 28.

The ticket allotment made available on SKCAwayTickets.com is reserved for Sporting Kansas City supporters only. Ticket requests from outside parties will be subject to cancellation and all others should purchase tickets through the Philadelphia Union.


PPL ParkStadium Guide


Visiting supporters will be placed in or around Section 132 in the southeast corner of PPL Park. Located at 1 Stadium Drive in Chester, Pennsylvania, PPL Park is five miles south of the Philadelphia International Airport and one mile from the Chester Transportation Center (6th & Welch Street), which provides free shuttle service to/from the stadium beginning four hours before game time. Additional gameday details for traveling supporters, including parking information, will be made available at a later date.

Sporting Kansas City has twice lifted the Dewar Challenge Trophy -- competed for annually since 1912 -- as champions of the U.S. Open Cup, winning the tournament title in 2004 at Arrowhead Stadium and again in 2012 at Sporting Park. This year's championship will feature a rematch of the lone regular season meeting on April 5 when Sporting KC scored twice in stoppage time for a 3-2 comeback victory over the Union.


The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, recognized as U.S. Soccer's National Club Championship, is an annual competition open to all amateur and professional soccer teams affiliated with U.S. Soccer. A total of 89 teams were in contention at the start of the first round, competing for the $250,000 grand prize and a 2016-17 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League berth.
