Bid on signed, match-worn Juneteenth kits with all auction proceeds benefiting Operation Liberation KC

Between now and Monday, July 12, Sporting Kansas City supporters have the unique opportunity to add an autographed, match-worn jersey to their souvenir collection while benefiting a great cause.

By visiting MLSauctions.com and clicking on the Sporting KC tab, fans can bid on a variety of limited-edition Juneteenth kits that Sporting players wore in MLS regular season action during the second half of June.

All benefits from the auction will go directly to Operation Liberation KC, a Black-centered non-profit organization that seeks liberation and equitable access to resources for Black people.

"I'm kind of over the moon," Sporting Kansas City goalkeeper Kendall McIntosh said of Major League Soccer's Juneteenth kits, which debuted this summer. "I think it's awesome that Sporting could do it and it's awesome that (MLS) could have us Black players be involved in it. It's (amazing) how the organization has really embraced it and I hope we can continue to do more things like this to help out Black-owned businesses and organizations."
