Major League Soccer announced today the MLS Team of the Matchday presented by Audi for Matchday 13 of the regular season with Sporting Kansas City forward Calvin Harris honored as one of the top 11 players in the league following the team's 3-1 victory over the LA Galaxy on Wednesday at Sporting Park.

Harris played a part in all three SKC goals -- earning the primary assists on strikes from Capita Capemba and Dejan Joveljic in the first half before tallying his first goal for the club in the second half -- on a career night in which he recorded three goal contributions in an MLS match for the first time.

The 26-year-old winger also covered the most ground (7.73 miles) and registered the fastest top speed (21.85 mph) of any player in SKCvLA. Harris becomes the third SKC player selected to a Team of the Matchday in 2026 and he now has a career-high four regular season assists this year after joining the club as a free agent in January following five seasons with FC Cincinnati (2021-22) and the Colorado Rapids (2023-25).

"Calvin has had chances in many games this season at home and away. He creates these chances," Sporting KC head coach Raphael Wicky said in the postgame press conference. "I'm happy for him that he got his first goal. I hope he can keep producing."

Sporting Kansas City will play the club's final road match before the World Cup this weekend as the team travels to Texas to take on Austin FC at 7:30 p.m. CT on Saturday at Q2 Stadium. The Western Conference match-up will be available to watch on Apple TV in addition to local radio coverage on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM.
