Sporting Kansas City has won five major titles in club history and is now five days away from playing for a sixth when the team takes the field at 6 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at PPL Park in the 2015 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Final.



U.S. Soccer announced today that the championship match -- featuring two-time champions Sporting Kansas City and back-to-back finalists Philadelphia Union -- will be nationally televised on ESPN2 (English) and Univision Deportes Network (Spanish). This will be the first Open Cup Final on an ESPN Network since 1999 and the first on any Univision network.


Looking for a place to cheer on the club with fellow fans? The Kansas City Live! Block in the KC Power and Light District will host a free watch party for fans of all ages to take in the final on the Living Room big screen.

Located across from the Sprint Center in downtown Kansas City, the KC Live! Block offers numerous options for food and drinks in the surrounding restaurants, as well as postgame entertainment opportunities. Parking is available for $2 (flat rate) after 5 p.m. CT in all Power & Light District garages during the week.


The KC Live! Block is an open-air venue covered by a translucent canopy and equipped with numerous guest amenities, including large overhead fans/heaters, fire pits and more. The space has hosted capacity crowds for World Cup watch parties the last two summers in addition to pep rallies for Sporting Kansas CIty and the U.S. Men's National Team.
