So with 30 days left until the 2014 FIFA World Cup kicks off in Brazil, ESPN will unveil tonight the first in a six-part documentary series on the USMNT's road to Brazil.
Inside: U.S. Men's Soccer March to Brazil is an inside look at the 100 days leading up to the USMNT's participation in the World Cup. Directed by Roger Bennett and Jonathan Hock, the emmy-award winning producer who oversees the MLS Insider series, the first episode will air at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN and will re-air at 8 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
Yesterday, Sporting KC defender Matt Besler and midfielder Graham Zusi were named to US Soccer's 30-player preliminary roster for 2014 World Cup. Besler and Zusi will report to training camp following Wednesday night's home match vs. the Philadelphia Union.
The U.S. will kick off their World Cup campaign on June 16 against Ghana. Sporting KC will host watch parties for all World Cup matches at KC Live! in the Power & Light District as part of the Summer in the Soccer Capital series, presented by the Sprint Framily Plan.
