Sporting KC's USL Pro Affiliate Orlando City kicked off their 2013 season with a 3-1 victory over Phoenix FC. After conceding an early goal, Orlando City fought back with three unanswered to get the three points. All four SKC players (Dom Dwyer, Jon Kempin, Yann Songo'o, Christian Duke) currently on loan with Orlando City started the match on Sunday night.
Dwyer scored the equalizer in the 35th minute with a header from close range while Songo'o, Duke, and Kempin all played 90 minutes. A full replay of the match is available online at USLNation.com.
Orlando City continues the 2013 USL Pro season with a match on April 10th at LA before their home opener on April 14th against Rochester.
