ESPN to broadcast live whip-around coverage on Decision Day

The marathon that is the MLS regular season will toss up one more dramatic twist when all 22 clubs kick off simultaneously at 3 p.m. CT Sunday.

Like in recent years, Decision Day presented by AT&T holds plenty of importance for a Sporting Kansas City side that visits Real Salt Lake in their regular-season finale on FOX Sports Kansas City and FOX Sports Midwest. Manager Peter Vermes' men can still finish anywhere between second and fifth in the Western Conference, knowing a win would guarantee them a home playoff game at Children's Mercy Park.

With a handful of other matches directly impacting Sporting KC's seeding — we're looking at you, Vancouver, Portland, Seattle and Houston â€” supporters will undoubtedly have their eyes on results around the league as Sunday's game in Utah unfolds.

While FOX Sports KC and FOX Sports Midwest carry the Sporting KC match, fans can also check into ESPN or ESPN Deportes for Decision Day whip-around coverage for all the goals and developments as the playoff picture solidifies.

To supplement ESPN programming, MLSsoccer.com will air a one-hour pregame and postgame show with special guests like Sporting Legend Jimmy Conrad, former MLS coaches Jay Heaps and Jeff Cassar, and former MLS general manager Ali Curtis. Pregame starts at 2 p.m. CT with postgame coverage beginning at 5:30 p.m. CT.
