Sporting Kansas City will return to competitive action next month in the MLS is Back Tournament, a historic competition involving all 26 MLS clubs at the ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
The tournament group stage will begin July 8, with Sporting drawn into Group D alongside Western Conference rivals Real Salt Lake, Minnesota United FC and the Colorado Rapids.
Although excitement continues to build by the day, the fact of the matter is that Sporting fans will have to wait another three weeks before Manager Peter Vermes' side takes the field.
To help bridge that gap over the next two Saturdays, FOX Sports Kansas City will re-air Sporting's first two matches of the 2020 MLS season—an impressive 3-1 road win over Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Feb. 29 and an emphatic 4-0 dismantling of the Houston Dynamo on March 7 at Children's Mercy Park.
The Vancouver match will air on FOX Sports Kansas City at 7 and 9 p.m. CT this Saturday, June 20. The Houston match will air the following Saturday, June 27, at 7 and 9 p.m. CT.
