Format
- Eight groups of three teams
- Each team plays four matches, home and away against the two other teams in their group
- Group winners advance to knockout stage
- Tiebreakers (in order) to determine a group winner if teams are tied on points are goal difference, goals scored, away goals scored, wins, and away wins
