Injury Report is SportingKC.com’s look at the latest injury news ahead of upcoming matches and is presented by The Center for Sports Medicine at Children's Mercy.
Sporting Kansas City has no fresh injury concerns heading into tonight’s Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Semifinal against the San Jose Earthquakes at Children’s Mercy Park.
Cameron Porter is the only name on the club’s injury report, with the forward ruled out for the remainder of the season with a broken fibula sustained last week.
As of the weekend, San Jose were without two key players in midfielders Anibal Godoy (knee) and Jahmir Hyka (hamstring) – with Godoy listed as out and Hyka questionable for their 2-1 victory over Columbus Crew SC at Avaya Stadium. Joining them on the club’s injury report was Harold Cummings (ankle) and Marc Pelosi (knee), who were both listed as out.
Kickoff for tonight’s match is set for 7:30 p.m. CT from Children’s Mercy Park. Tickets are available via SeatGeek.com, while the game will be broadcast on SportingKC.com. Fans can also catch the game on the radio on Sports Radio 810 WHB (English) and La Grande 1340 AM (Spanish).
