Sporting Kansas City heads into this afternoon’s clash with Seattle Sounders FC at CenturyLink Field with four players remaining on the club’s injury report.
Forward Khiry Shelton, who returned to full training this week after suffering a torn Meniscus and MCL in early July, is upgraded to questionable. Forward Kharlton Belmar is added to the injury report with a knee sprain, while Cristian Lobato (knee) and Jimmy Medranda (knee) both remain out with longer-term injuries.
Seattle prepares to host Sporting KC with Victor Rodriguez questionable with a hamstring strain, while U.S. National Team forward Jordan Morris (torn ACL) and Felix Chenkam (herniated disc) are both out.
Kickoff for today’s match is set for 3 p.m. CT and will air nationally on UniMas and @UnivisionSports on Twitter, while FOX Sports Kansas City will host the game locally. ESPN 94.5 FM (English) and ESPN Deportes 1480 AM (Spanish) will carry the game on the radio.
