Injury Report: Sporting KC enters Timbers showdown with clean bill of health

Injury Report DL Image - 2017

Sporting Kansas City enters tonight's contest with the Portland Timbers at Providence Park with a relatively clean bill of health.

Midfielder Benny Feilhaber, who missed the last two games with a thigh strain, is no longer listed on the club's injury report. Feilhaber scored Sporting KC's first goal of the season with a stunning strike from distance in the 2-1 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes on March 18 - his most recent appearance in 2017.

That leaves just forward Diego Rubio on the sidelines as he continues to work his way back from a torn ACL suffered in October.

Portland are sweating on the fitness of star defender Liam Ridgewell, who has missed the last five games and is listed as questionable with a foot injury ahead of tonight’s matchup.

In addition, Gbenga Arokoyo is out with an Achilles injury while Ben Zemanski will also miss the game for the hosts with an adductor issue.

Kickoff is set for 9:30 p.m. CT from Providence Park, with FOX Sports Kansas City and FOX Sports Kansas City Plus broadcasting the game locally, while ESPN 99.3 FM (English) and La Grande 1340 AM (Spanish) will have the call on the radio.
