Sporting Kansas City midfielder Peterson Joseph did not feature in Haiti's 1-0 win over Guyana on Wednesday in 2012 Caribbean Cup qualifying. Joseph started all three matches in the first round of qualifying earlier this year. The win is a crucial one for Haiti who now lead their group and could clinch a spot in the Caribbean Cup with a win over French Guiana on Friday. Olrish Saurel scored Haiti's lone goal against Guyana in the 47th minute.
Friday's match will be at 4 PM CT. It's unknown if Joseph will play a role in either of the final two matches. Haiti concludes the qualifying on Sunday against the hosts (all matches are being played at the Grenada National Stadium) at 6 PM CT.
In other news in Caribbean Cup qualifying, former Sporting KC player Craig Rocastle scored for Grenada in their 1-1 draw against French Guiana.
