The Swope Park Rangers have added goalkeeper Andrew Dykstra and forward Cameron Iwasa on loan from Sporting Kansas City ahead of Saturday’s USL showdown with Sacramento Republic FC.

Dykstra and Iwasa join defenders Erik Palmer-Brown, Tyler Pasher and Colton Storm who are still on loan with the Rangers after starting the most recent SPR match against Portland Timbers 2 on March 29.

Sporting KC selected Dykstra in the Stage Two of the 2016 MLS Re-Entry Draft after spending the previous five seasons with D.C. United. He had previously spent time with the Chicago Fire and has made over 60 appearances in the USL while playing for the Charleston Battery and the Richmond Kickers throughout his career.

Iwasa spent the first two seasons of his professional career in the USL playing for Saturday’s opponents, Sac Republic. The 23-year-old scored a team-leading 12 goals for Sacramento in 2016 on his way to claiming a spot on the USL All-League Second Team before signing with Sporting KC in January.

The Rangers are looking to continue their perfect 2-0-0 start to the season when they take on Sacramento on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT from Children’s Mercy Victory Field in Swope Soccer Village, with tickets available via SeatGeek or at the box office on gameday. The game will be live streamed on SportingKC.com.
