Sporting Kansas City's 2018 bobblehead series will conclude Saturday when the Western Conference leaders host the Colorado Rapids at 7:30 p.m. CT.

The limited-edition Matt Besler bobblehead — crafted in memory of the captain painting the wall in the northwest corner of Children's Mercy Park after Sporting KC's 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup championship triumph â€” will be available to the first 10,000 supporters who arrive on Saturday, courtesy of match sponsor Mainstreet Credit Union.

For those not among the first 10,000 people to enter through the stadium gates, all fans who make a $50 purchase at any SportingStyle location on Saturday night will also receive a free Matt Besler bobblehead. SportingStyle.com is now accepting merchandise pre-orders that can be picked up Saturday on the Toyota Plaza beginning at 5:30 p.m. CT.

Tickets for Saturday are on sale at SeatGeek.com as Sporting KC hosts a Cinco de Mayo celebration in conjunction with the match, featuring the following:

  • Salty Iguana food truck on the Toyota Plaza during pregame
  • Modelo samples on the Toyota Plaza during pregame
  • Cinco de Mayo-themed scarf
  • Cinco de Mayo-themed stadium graphics

Furthermore, a limited number of college scarf and ticket packages remain available ahead of the game. This limited-time offer consists of a match ticket and a Sporting KC scarf co-branded with a local university, back by popular demand after a successful debut on April 20.

Sporting KC (5-2-2, 17 points) currently occupies first place in the Western Conference with 20 goals through nine games, including 13 in their last four home matches. Manager Peter Vermes' men last faced the Rapids (2-3-2, 8 points) on March 24, erasing a two-goal deficit to earn a 2-2 tie at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.
