Sporting Kansas City's home opener against New York City FC, slated for 6:30 p.m. CT Sunday, opens a primetime doubleheader on FS1 as LA Galaxy hosts the Portland Timbers in a 9 p.m. CT nightcap. Earlier that day, Los Angeles Football Club will play its inaugural match at Seattle Sounders FC in a 4 p.m. CT kickoff.
The first MLS match of 2018 to air nationally will see Atlanta United FC visit the Houston Dynamo at 2:30 p.m. CT Saturday on Univision.
