New edition of Behind the Shield presented by Audi provides all-access look at triumph in Toronto

New in 2024, Behind the Shield presented by Audi will be available after every match this season with the video series - produced by Sporting Kansas City's full-time digital storytellers - providing fans with an immersive viewing experience highlighted by exclusive interviews and all-access footage from Sporting Kansas City players, trainings and matchdays.

This week's BTS captures the sights and sounds from the club's thrilling 3-1 win in Toronto, taking viewers inside the locker room at BMO Field for the halftime speech that sparked three unanswered goals in the second half.

"You've made good choices. We just haven't scored," Manager Peter Vermes told the team. "We've had some very good chances going at goal. Those are over with. We'll get some more in the second half. Keep fighting for everything."

Fans can also hear from forwards Willy Agada and Stephen Afrifa during the 12-minute episode, which can be seen on SportingKC.com, Sporting Kansas City's YouTube channel and MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

Sporting Kansas City will kick off a three-match homestand this Sunday when the club takes on a Portland Timbers side led by Brazilian midfielder Evander and Uruguayan forward Jonathan Rodriguez. The Western Conference clash will kick off at 12:55 p.m. CT and tickets are available online at SeatGeek , including the Coca-Cola Friends & Family 4-Pack and the Wild West 5-Pack.

The MLS Matchday 8 finale will be free to watch on MLS Season Pass via Apple TV in addition to national television broadcasts on FOX and FOX Deportes as well as local radio coverage on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM. Pub partners in the Sporting Pub Network will also show all of the action, including a watch party at No Other Pub in the Kansas City Power and Light District.
