Sporting Kansas City’s away match at Orlando City SC will kick off at 6 p.m. CT on Saturday, May 13, the club announced today. The game will air live on FOX Sports Kansas City Plus.
The interconference clash at the new Orlando City Stadium — originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT — was moved ahead 30 minutes to accommodate that evening’s nationally televised matchup between the Chicago Fire and Seattle Sounders FC at 8 p.m. CT on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes.
One of three unbeaten teams remaining in MLS, Sporting Kansas City (2-0-3, 9 points) will now embark on a two-game road swing against the top two teams in the Western Conference. First up is a showdown with the first-place Portland Timbers (4-1-1, 13 points) at 9:30 p.m. CT on FOX Sports Kansas City and FOX Sports Kansas City Plus, followed by a trip to unbeaten FC Dallas (3-0-1, 10 points) on April 22.
