Sporting KC snapped a seven-game winless streak against Real Salt Lake in emphatic fashion on Saturday with a 3-0 demolition of the Western Conference rivals. Benny Feilhaber opened the scoring in the first half while Dom Dwyer and Gerso provided second half goals to seal the victory. Tim Melia the Sporting KC defense held firm for their fifth shutout in eight matches.
