Sports Radio 810 WHB rolled out a plethora of Sporting Kansas City programming this week ahead of the club's mouthwatering matchup with Atlanta United FC on Wednesday night at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Tuesday night's fast-paced episode of The Sporting KC Show saw hosts Nate Bukaty and Carter Augustine broadcast live from Atlanta, where they will call Wednesday's contest at 6:30 p.m. CT on FOX Sports KC Plus, FOX Sports Midwest Plus and FOX Sports GO. Bukaty and Augustine previewed the high-profile encounter between the top two teams in the MLS Supporters' Shield standings and spoke to defender Graham Zusi as well as Manager Peter Vermes, who on Monday signed a contact extension with the club through 2023.
This morning, Bukaty and team captain Matt Besler joined The Border Patrol to discuss the challenge of playing at Mercedes-Benz Stadium against a high-scoring Atlanta side that has gone 7-0-1 in its last eight games. Sporting KC content continued into the afternoon when Bukaty spoke with Soren Petro on The Program, offering more insight leading up to the marquee battle.
