UPDATE: Sunday’s scrimmage between the Swope Park Rangers and Creighton University at Swope Soccer Village has been cancelled due to inclement winter weather in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Swope Park Rangers’ preseason match against Creighton University has been rescheduled for this Sunday, Feb. 24, at Swope Soccer Village. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. CT and admission is free and open to the public.

The preseason tune-up was originally scheduled to take place a day earlier at Creighton’s Morrison Stadium in Omaha, Nebraska, but winter weather forecasts prompted the fixture to be rearranged.

Led by head coach Paulo Nagamura, the Rangers began their 2019 preseason with victories over Barton Community College and North Texas SC before falling at Tulsa Roughnecks FC on Saturday. After facing Creighton, SPR will welcome Texas United in their final friendly on March 2 at Swope Soccer Village.

The Rangers will kick off the 2019 USL Championship campaign at New York Red Bulls II on March 9 prior to hosting Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC in their Children’s Mercy Park home opener on March 23. Single-game tickets for all 17 home matches are now on sale at SeatGeek.com, while SPR season tickets are also available by calling 888-4KC-GOAL.
