Sporting Kansas City announced today that goalkeeper Eric Dick has joined USL Championship club Tulsa Roughnecks FC on a one-game loan.

Roughnecks FC have added Dick to their roster ahead of Saturday's USL Championship Western Conference clash against Real Monarchs, slated for 7:30 p.m. CT at ONEOK Field in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dick will return to Sporting Kansas City following the match, which will stream live on ESPN+.

Sporting selected Dick with the 13th overall pick in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft out of Butler University. The 6-foot-5 goalkeeper has earned 20 starts for USL Championship affiliate Swope Park Rangers over the last two seasons, recording 79 saves and five shutouts.

Dick, 24, earned USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week honors last week for a splendid stop in the Rangers’ road match at North Carolina FC on June 15. He has racked up 30 saves in six starts for SPR this season, including a career-high 12 in the 2019 season opener at New York Red Bulls II on March 9.

Sporting will conclude a daunting five-game road swing in all competitions on Saturday, visiting rivals Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah. The match will kick off at 9 p.m. CT with live coverage on FOX Sports Kansas City, FOX Sports Midwest Plus, FOX Sports GO, Sports Radio 810 WHB and ESPN Deportes KC 1480 AM.
