SKC II Signs Duval Wapiwo

Sporting Kansas City II has added Cameroonian midfielder Duval Wapiwo in a loan deal from Czech side MFK Vyskov, the club announced today. Wapiwo spent the 2019 campaign on loan with fellow USL Championship Eastern Conference side North Carolina FC.

Wapiwo rose through the ranks at Apejes FC de Mfou in his native Cameroon before joining MFK Vyskov in early 2019. The 19-year-old headed stateside to join North Carolina FC on loan last January and made his debut for the club in July against Loudoun United.

In total, Wapiwo made seven appearances for North Carolina FC in all competitions, including two in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup as NCFC saw off the Richmond Kickers and the Florida Soccer Soliders in the Second and Third Rounds, respectively.
