Sporting Kansas City announced today that the club has mutually agreed to terminate the contract of midfielder Manu Garcia. The club has also exercised a buyout of Garcia’s guaranteed contract, and Garcia will no longer occupy a Designated Player spot on Sporting’s roster.
Garcia joined Sporting KC ahead of the 2025 season and went on to record four goals and 14 assists in 47 appearances across all competitions for the club. Garcia had previously spent his career in Europe with clubs in England, France, Spain and Greece.
