Sporting Kansas City announced today a new kickoff time for the club's regular season home match against Austin FC on Saturday, June 12 at Children's Mercy Park. The match, previously set for 7:30 p.m. CT, will now kickoff at 2 p.m. CT.
The match was originally scheduled for July 17 and was recently rescheduled to June 12 due to Children's Mercy Park hosting matches for the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup in mid-July.
Sporting will welcome expansion side Austin FC to Kansas City this Sunday for the first of three match-ups in 2021. The clubs’ inaugural meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. CT at Children’s Mercy Park and a limited number of tickets are available at SeatGeek.com.
