With the likes of Yohan Croizet, Felipe Gutierrez and Johnny Russell set for their MLS debuts, Sporting Kansas City will have a new look in Sunday’s season opener against New York City FC.
So, too, will the food menu at Children’s Mercy Park.
At the forefront, the Budweiser Brew House is excited to unveil Blue Hell’s Kitchen, which will treat Members Stand supporters to a variety of delicious Kansas City staples on matchday.
On the stadium concourses, all fans can treat themselves to four new items available at the following concession locations:
- Steak Sandwich (pictured below) – Sporting Grill (sections 114 & 129)
- Chicken BLT (pictured below) – Sporting Grill (sections 114 & 129)
- Barbeque Brisket Nachos (pictured below) – Stadium Fare (sections 101 & 127)
- Boneless Chicken Nuggets – Chicken-N-Taters (section 134)
Through an enhanced partnership with Anheuser-Busch, Sporting KC Food & Beverage will also sell eight new Anheuser-Busch craft beers at locations throughout Children’s Mercy Park.
The new Steak Sandwich is the first of four new seasonal items that Sporting KC Food & Beverage will unveil during the 2018 season.
Tickets for the season-opening clash are available at SeatGeek.com, and the first 15,000 fans through the stadium gates will get a free schedule magnet courtesy of match sponsor Children’s Mercy. Rally towels await all supporters in attendance, while Sporting KC Uphoria mobile app users will receive an offer card for free Oreo cookies at local participating Price Chopper locations.
