Sporting Kansas City II midfielder Zamir Loyo Reynaga has received a call up to the Mexican U-16 national team for the 2026 Liga MX International Tournament at the Centro de Alto Rendimiento (CAR) in Mexico City from Sept. 3-11. This will be Loyo Reynaga's second call up with Mexico in 2026 after he joined the U-15s for the 2026 FMF Super Cup. The midfielder has joined the US U-15 Boy's National Team twice this year, participating in an international training camp in Larnaca, Cyprus in February and competing in the 2026 Vlatko Markovic International Tournament in Croatia in May. 

The Las Vegas, Nevada native became the youngest player in club history to represent Sporting Kansas City II when he debuted against Ventura County FC on Sept. 28, 2025, at 14 years and 251 days old. He made two appearances for SKC II in 2025, coming on as a substitute in the team's Decision Day matchup with MNUFC 2 as well. The 15-year-old signed a contract with Sporting KC II and the Sporting KC first team on February 5 ahead of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season. He has started seven of 14 appearances for SKC II, scoring one goal in 648 minutes played in his first professional season.
