Sporting Kansas City announced today the club’s new “First Game On Us” initiative which offers up to two free tickets for fans to experience their first Major League Soccer match at Children’s Mercy Park.
The fan engagement platform is designed to further expand accessibility to both the sport and the league by affording newcomers the opportunity to cheer on the team inside its world-class stadium – all at no cost, compliments of the club -- in the buildup to 2026, when six highly anticipated World Cup matches will be played in Kansas City.
Through the “First Game On Us” program, individuals interested in attending their first Sporting Kansas City game are invited to claim up to two free tickets (a $56 value) in the Supporters’ Stand or Price Chopper South Stand at Children’s Mercy Park for any of the team’s remaining home matches in the 2025 Major League Soccer season. A limited quantity of tickets will be available per game on a first-come, first-served basis for first-time guests while supplies last.
The Supporters’ Stand is home to the Kansas City Cauldron supporters group with nine sections of general admission bleachers on the north end of Children’s Mercy Park. All Supporters’ Stand tickets – including those available through the “First Game On Us” initiative – come with access to the climate-controlled Budweiser Brew House, where Sporting KC players enter the stadium on home gamedays and where the team’s head coach raises a toast to fans post-match to celebrate victories.
The Price Chopper South Stand features family-friendly general admission seating in Sections 115-121 with the front row positioned less than seven yards from the field of play. Ticket holders enjoy traditional stadium-style seats with cup holders and chairbacks as well as convenient access to the Price Chopper South Stand Market located behind Section 118 for a variety of grab-and-go food and drink options.
The ”First Game On Us” campaign is one of several strategic ticketing promotions as Sporting continues to grow the game and strengthen its connection within the community, including the Sporting U Pass for college students, the Kids Chant Free season ticket membership for families and the club’s longstanding tradition of offering free tickets to away matches for season ticket members and supporters group members.
