Sporting Kansas City announced today that the club has loaned goalkeeper Ryan Schewe to Louisville City FC in the USL Championship for the remainder of the 2026 season. Sporting KC retains the right to recall Schewe at any point during the season.
Schewe, 24, joined Sporting KC as the 22nd overall pick in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft following a standout collegiate career at Georgetown. The Marietta, Georgia native has made 17 appearances for SKC II over the past three seasons while also serving in a backup role for the first team.
