Sporting Kansas City passed on its pick in Stage One of the 2016 MLS Re-Entry Draft on Friday.
Three players were taken during Stage One as Dylan Remick joined the Houston Dynamo, Patrick McLain joined Orlando City SC and Bryan Meredith joined Seattle Sounders FC. All players who were not selected in Stage One will be made available in Stage Two, set for next Thursday at 2 p.m. CT.

Yesterday, all 22 MLS clubs elected to pass during the MLS Waiver Draft, which consisted of players who had been waived by their teams but didn’t meet the minimum years of service requirement for the Re-Entry Draft or Free Agency. Those players are now free to sign with the team of their choice.
Sporting Kansas City currently has 20 players under contract for the 2017 season:
