Running throughout the season on Sports Radio 810 WHB, the Sporting Kansas City Show presented by Michelob Ultra is available on several podcast hubs such as Spotify and iTunes as well as SportingKC.com. With Nate Bukaty, Aly Trost and Conall McCourt hosting the weekly program, Sporting fans have a place to go to catch up on club storylines, guest interviews and more.

A new episode of the Sporting Kansas City Show presented by Michelob Ultra debuted Tuesday night on Sports Radio 810 WHB, serving as a comprehensive preview of a busy World Cup qualifying window and a compelling Western Conference clash between Sporting and LAFC on Friday night at Banc of California Stadium.

The three-segment episode kicked off with hosts Nate Bukaty and Aly Trost recapping a competitive 1-1 home draw against the Colorado Rapids before transitioning to a World Cup qualifying discussion with Charles Boehm of MLSsoccer.com. Sporting and LAFC will both be without key players on Friday due to international duty, as the likes of Daniel Salloi (Hungary), Gadi Kinda (Israel), Brian Rodriguez (Uruguay), Kim Moon-Hwan (South Korea), Diego Palacios and Jose Cifuentes (both joining Ecuador) have traveled abroad.

Boehm also spoke at length about the United States Men's National Team, which will begin World Cup qualifying this week after claiming momentous championship victories over Mexico in the Concacaf Nations League and Concacaf Gold Cup earlier this summer. The U.S. will play three times from Sept. 2-8, facing El Salvador, Canada and Honduras in quick succession.

French, a Los Angeles-based soccer reporter, then joined the show to shed light on an LAFC side that has gone a club-record eight straight matches without a win. Head coach Bob Bradley's side are 6-9-6 through 21 matches, occupying 11th place in the West, and have lost both previous meetings to Sporting this season. Manager Peter Vermes' men snatched a 2-1 comeback home win over LAFC on June 26 before cruising to a 4-1 road victory on Aug. 4, handing the LA club its heaviest home defeat at Banc of California Stadium.

Kickoff between Sporting and LFC is set for 9 p.m. CT on Friday with live coverage on Bally Sports Kansas City Plus, Bally Sports Midwest Plus, UniMas, TUDN, ESPN 94.5 FM and La Grande 1340 AM.
