Following a 1-1 draw against the Chicago Fire on Sunday, Sporting Kansas City will now turn the team's attention to the Montreal Impact ahead of Saturday's match at Stade Saputo. The Eastern Conference clash will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT live on KMCI 38 the Spot and across the Midwest on SKCTV with radio coverage available on Sports Radio 810 WHB (English) and La Gran D 1340 AM (Spanish).


Johnny's Tavern locations in the KC Power & Light District (1310 Grand Blvd.) and Shawnee (13410 W. 62nd Terr.) will host the team's official watch parties. All fans are encouraged to attend the special events, which will feature select Boulevard draft specials and the Blue Believer signature cocktail.


Sporting Kansas City will train at 9 a.m. CT on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Swope Soccer Village (6310 Lewis Rd.) in Kansas City, MO before departing for Montreal. Media members are welcome to attend for video, photo and interview opportunities. The team will host its weekly press conference at 11 a.m. CT on Thursday at the Swope Soccer Village with Manager Peter Vermes and a Sporting KC player.


A new episode of The Sporting KC Show will air from 7-8 p.m. CT on Tuesday on Sports Radio 810 WHB with hosts Callum Williams, Andy Edwards and Carter Augustine. Fans can listen via 810 AM, 810whb.com or through the station's free mobile app and can join the discussion by calling 913-3-810-810.


Soccer supporters from across the region are invited to KC Live! in the Kansas City Power and Light District for Sporting Kansas City's official FIFA World Cup watch parties. More than 50,000 fans have attended the watch parties -- which are free and open to all ages -- to date as part of Summer in the Soccer Capital, presented by The Sprint Framily Plan. The tournament's semifinal stage begins Tuesday with hosts Brazil taking on Germany at 3 p.m. CT on ESPN, followed by Wednesday's showdown between Netherlands and Argentina at 3 p.m. CT on ESPN.


On Friday, fan voting ends on MLSsoccer.com at 2 p.m. CT for the 2014 MLS All-Star Game. Sporting Kansas City has seven nominees in contention for the Fan XI: Eric Kronberg, Seth Sinovic, Aurelien Collin, Matt Besler, Benny Feilhaber, Graham Zusi and Dom Dwyer.


Voting will launch online at MLSsoccer.com on Friday for the MLS WORKS Community MVP contest presented by Wells Fargo. All 19 teams will be represented by a Community MVP finalist with the grand prize winner earning a trip for two to the 2014 MLS All-Star Game on Aug. 6 in Portland, Oregon.
